The town of Loveland is well-known for its Valentine re-mailing program and offers many interesting events throughout the summer -- free outdoor concerts, free Loveland Museum & Art Gallery, the Rialto Theatre, art galleries, biking/walking trail, state-of-the-art recreation complex, sculpture/craft/music festivals, corn roast/rodeo events, antique and boutique shops, an assortment of restaurants & personal services, a spectacular July 4th event, Lake Loveland beach & playground. Nearby Carter and Boyd lakes & Horsetooth Reservoir offers hundreds of acres of fishing and water sports. A 38-store prime factory outlet mall and the Centerra Mall are just off the junction of US Highway 34 and I-25. From Riverview it is just a two-mile drive to the scenic Big Thompson Canyon en route to Rocky Mountain National Park 40 minutes away.
