We are your one stop shop for all your adventure needs. We offer rentals for brand new Can-Am 500 EFI ATV's and Polaris 800 EFI RZR aide by side UTV's. Come join us in beautiful Lake City, Colorado where you can ride from 8,600 feet to 12,800 at the summit of Engineer Pass.

Call to find out the times of our trailering service to get your ATV from County Roads 20 to 30 and back, allowing you to complete the Alpine Loop. ATVs are not allowed to drive on the State Highway that connects the two County Roads.

UNGUIDED RENTALS: We have half, and full day rentals available.

Engineer Pass is not a hard core trail! An ATV, UTV or Jeep should be able the make it without any problems. Explore 65 miles of spectacular peaks and narrow glacial valleys. Along your travels you will enjoy two 12,000 foot passes and well-preserved remains of stamp mills, tramways, and ghost towns from the mining boom of the late 1800s. Engineer Pass offers great scenery with waterfalls, small lakes, plus mountain meadows. The trail starts right off the main road. A good place to stop is Whitmore Falls; it's a large waterfall that can't be seen from the road, and the short, but steep hike is well worth the effort to see the falls. The summit offers great views in every direction. Many of the region's fourteeners are visible!

We take the ATV's to the Trailhead, and pick them up when you're done.

There is a 1000.00 (Credit card) damage deposit per machine, refunded to you upon return of the machine. Insurance is included.

The Alpine Loop is one of the outstanding examples of the back country byway system. It covers 65 miles of roads between the towns of Lake City, Ouray, and Silverton. Chief Ouray, Rose's Cabin, Capitol City, Alferd Packard, Stony Pass, Animas Forks -- All are names from the past; and all are part of the history of the San Juan Mountains. Today, you can follow the pioneeršs paths. Imagine their hardships and marvel at their successes as you travel the historic roads and trails in the Alpine Triangle.
