Flying Horse Ranch
719-836-2319
We invite you to join us at the Flying Horse Ranch for a Rocky Mountain ranch vacation. Escape your fast-paced lifestyle into one that offers a leisurely pace within the serenity of the surrounding mountains. Outstanding service, superb staff, customized activities and gracious hospitality await you. Situated on 3,600 acres in historic South Park and a short 45 minute drive from Breckenridge and Summit County. Nestled along the Pike National Forest recreational activities are unlimited. Explore the beautiful mountains as you horseback ride, hike or mountain bike across vast meadows, into Aspen groves and around rock outcroppings. Swim, fish, rowboat and canoe in the ranch lakes or fly fish along Jefferson Creek and the Tarryall River for native species. Trade stories with your wranglers and staff as you enjoy home cooked family style meals. Meet new friends as you wind down and take in the views from the decks overlooking the lake. After a fun-filled day unwind at the firepit, watch the sunset and gaze at the stars. Retire to your room and relax in front of your fireplace, snuggle into your down bed and fall asleep listening to the owls hoot and the coyotes call. The 10,000 square foot lodge at the Flying Horse Ranch presents opportunities for gathering with family and friends. Richly appointed western decor greets you throughout. Multiple seating areas allow for playing games, relaxing in front of the fireplace, reading in the leather chaise or napping on one of the sofas. Buddy up to the western bar for your favorite refreshments and polish your skills at the pool table. Accommodations include two suites and three private guest rooms within the lodge. Each suite/room features a king bed, sitting area, gas fireplace and full bath. Additionally there are two family cabins across the lake sleeping up to six guests in each cabin. These cabins offer a gas fireplace, kitchen, living/dining room, master bedroom and loft. The ranch is located at 9,700 feet altitude and is an easy 1-hour drive from the Denver International Airport. PO Box 307, 39823 Highway 285, Jefferson Colorado 80456; 719-836-2319.
